Jesus said, "I was an hungred and you gave me meat.....in asmuch as you have done it to the least of these, you have done it unto me." (Mat. 25:35)

Announcements

MAY - Is "Reconciliation" month.  The forgiveness of the Lord is divine.  It brings life, healing and relieves burdens.  This month let us ask God to help us to sew forgiveness into the lives of others.

Mother's Day - is May 12th.  The men will be cooking breakfast for the mothers during Sunday School hour.  Come out an enjoy.  They will also be over the program.  Our first lady will be the speaker.

Good Works Sunday - Is scheduled for May 19th.  If you would like to volunteer, help out and be blessed.

Sunday School- The name has changed to Disciples School.  We ask all members to renew your interest in being a disciple for Jesus and attend Disciples School.  9:30 AM. each Sunday.

Dunbar Outreach- Members have voted to continue the outreach in the Dunbar area.  Dues will be $20.00 (singles), $30.00 for (couples).  We meet each Wed.  Next Wed. we will have a prayer walk for upcoming revival.

                                       God Loves You!

It is beyond our natural minds to believe that the God of all creation loves us, but he really does.  However, it is not with the kind of love that we think.  The love God loves with is unconditional, it is a merciful, forgiving love.  It is with a  redeeming love.  A love, that if accepted will be forever.

This love was demonstrated his only son, Jesus.  He allowed Jesus to be crucified for all of us.  To pay the penalty of death for everyone's sin, including yours and mine.  He died but on three days God raised him from the dead!  Today his is Lord of heaven and hell!

To accept God's powerful saving love.  We must understand that we are sinners and that we need a Jesus our savior to forgive us.  By faith, believing this truth you can obtain this faith by repenting, asking forgiveness and receiving Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior!  Today is your day, it is time to trust  God with your life.  Prayer (heaven) like death (hell) is a breathe away and only you can make the choice!  I pray that you make the right choice today.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER

TAPE MINISTRY

Crossroads provides a C D ministry of most services.  If you would like a copy of any service contact Pastor Brooks.  The suggested donation price is $2:00.  DVD'S of the history of Crossroads are also available for $4.00.
 

BIBLE STUDY

Anointed and informative Bible Study is being held at 7:00 PM. on Wednesdays for all ages at the Dunbar location.(1301 Payne Ave.)  All are invited!  Bring your kids, dinner is served at 6:30 for your convenience.

YOUTH MINISTRIES

The youth group meets on Wednesdays at the Dunbar location.  They also have their service on the third Sundays of each month at the church in St. Albans.  If you would like your child to be apart, bring them out. You are welcome!
 

GOOD WORKS MINISTRY

Is a ministry formed to help others.  If you would like to volunteer to help or for additional information, please contact Pastor Brooks.  It is more blessed to give than to receive.
